About the Fund: The Peace Pedalers Relief Fund is a small, grassroots relief fund managed by Jamie Bianchini, dba Peace Pedalers. This fund will be used solely for aid projects encountered along the route of Peace Pedalers or other worthy philanthropic causes. Jamie is self funding all the expedition expenses like food, transport, visas, etc. This means the fund will allow donors to have an vehicle to give directly to worthwhile causes without any administrative costs typical with larger NGO's and charity organizations such as rent, employees, insurance, utilities, advertising, etc. You can rest assured that EVERY PENNY of your donation goes directly to people who REALLY need it. Donations: There are two ways to make donations. Here's they are with their pros and cons:

Option 1, Donate Directly to Peace Pedalers: In this method you do NOT get a tax break because Peace Pedalers is not a 501(c)(3) organization. We don't have any staff to support that. If you need the tax benefit, see option 2 below. The benefit of option 1 is that we don't have to pay a 10% processing fee that we do if you donate through our fiscal sponsor and this means more money directly to the people who need it along the ride.
